Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 88 suspects were captured during "Gürz-15" operations targeting ISIS across 23 provinces over the last five days.
The operations were conducted by Provincial Security Directorates and coordinated by the General Directorate of Security Intelligence and the Anti-Terror Department.
The provinces involved in the raids included Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bingöl, Bursa, Çorum, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Eskişehir, Hatay, İstanbul, Kayseri, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Kilis, Kocaeli, Konya, Manisa, Ordu, Sakarya, Siirt, Sivas, and Tekirdağ.
Minister Yerlikaya, through a statement on X, highlighted the success of the coordinated effort in detaining the suspects as part of Türkiye's ongoing crackdown on ISIS. Further investigations are reportedly underway. (ILKHA)
