Turkish FM Hakan Fidan to attend international conference in Saudi Arabia

Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will travel to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to take part in an international conference hosted in the historic city of AlUla, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced in a press release.
According to the statement, Fidan’s visit underscores Türkiye’s continued engagement with regional diplomacy and international dialogue. The Ministry noted that the conference will bring together senior officials and representatives from various countries, although further details on the agenda and participating delegations were not immediately disclosed.
AlUla, located in northwestern Saudi Arabia, has increasingly become a venue for high-level diplomatic and cultural gatherings, reflecting Riyadh’s efforts to enhance its role in international affairs.
