The Turkish Ministry of National Defense declared in a statement on Friday that nine PKK militants were killed in operations across northern Iraq and Syria.
According to the statement, four PKK members were neutralized in the Claw-Lock Operation area in northern Iraq. Meanwhile, five PKK/YPG militants were taken out in the Peace Spring and Manbij regions of northern Syria.
Turkish Armed Forces are actively engaged in counter-terrorism efforts in these regions, targeting the PKK and its Syrian affiliate, YPG, which are considered terrorist groups by Türkiye. (ILKHA)
