Turkish Interior Ministry reports 5 PKK members killed in Şırnak operation

The Turkish Ministry of Interior has announced that a total of 5 PKK members were killed during an operation in the Bestler Dereler Region of Şırnak.
According to the ministry's statement, an additional three PKK members were eliminated between May 15 and May 16, bringing the total to five.
In today's encounter, two more terrorists were neutralized after engaging in direct combat with a group of militants.
With this latest development, the operation has now rendered a total of five PKK members ineffective.
The statement also reaffirmed the unwavering determination and conviction of the ongoing operations in the region.
Four Turkish soldiers and one village guard had previously lost their lives at the hands of PKK members during this operation. (ILKHA)
