Türkiye: 5 killed in traffic accident on Tokat-Sivas highway

Five people were killed and several others injured in a collision between a minibus and a lorry on the Tokat-Sivas highway in central Türkiye.
The accident occurred at Yatmış village on the highway on Sunday morning. A minibus travelling from Sivas to Tokat hit a truck loaded with sugar beet from behind.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene and found five people dead inside the mangled minibus. Firefighters rescued five others who were trapped and transported them to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. (ILKHA)
