Turkish authorities have arrested 46 suspects accused of providing financial support to ISIS and engaging in organizational activities, following a large-scale counterterrorism operation spanning four cities, with Istanbul as the central hub.
The operation was carried out under the direction of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Terror Offences Investigation Bureau. A detention warrant was issued for 47 individuals believed to be financially aiding ISIS and maintaining links to conflict zones.
Security forces launched simultaneous raids in multiple cities, successfully apprehending 46 of the wanted suspects. Efforts are ongoing to locate and arrest the remaining fugitive.
