The Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attack on the Saudi Hospital in Al Fasher, Sudan, which claimed numerous lives and left many injured.
In a press release, the ministry expressed deep sorrow over the incident and extended condolences to the victims’ families and the people of Sudan. "We extend our condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Sudan, and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured," the statement read.
The ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to international law and safeguarding civilian infrastructure, stating: "We reiterate that international law must be respected and civilian infrastructure must never be targeted."
Türkiye also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability in Sudan, a nation grappling with ongoing conflict and humanitarian challenges.
