Türkiye exposes Israeli attempts to whitewash Gaza crimes

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a sharp rebuke to recent social media remarks made by the Israeli Foreign Minister, describing the comments as "outrageous and unfounded."
In a statement released on Saturday, the Ministry categorically rejected the claims, labeling them as part of a broader attempt to deflect attention from what it called "the grave crimes committed by Netanyahu and his administration."
“These statements further reinforce our concern that Israel is intensifying its genocidal campaign in Gaza and pursuing destabilizing policies across the region,” the statement read.
Reaffirming Ankara’s commitment to justice, the Ministry emphasized that Türkiye would not be swayed by what it described as Israeli "propaganda and misinformation."
“Türkiye remains steadfast in its commitment to truth and justice. No propaganda or misinformation disseminated by Israeli officials will deter us from speaking out against oppression and injustice,” the statement declared.
The Ministry concluded by affirming Türkiye’s continued support for Palestinian civilians: “We will continue to stand resolutely with the innocent civilians who are suffering under Israeli aggression and will unwaveringly defend their legitimate rights.”
This latest development comes amid growing international concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and rising tensions across the region. (ILKHA)
