Hizbullah Jama’ah Leader calls for unity and support for Palestine in Eid message

Edip Gümüş, the leader of the Hizbullah Jama’ah, has released an Eid al-Fitr message calling for unity within the Islamic Ummah and expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
In his statement, Gümüş extended his congratulations to the families of martyrs, prisoners detained for their dedication to the cause of Islam, and muhajir (migrant) brothers and sisters. He expressed prayers for their patience and called for an end to their trials.
Gumus highlighted the spiritual efforts of Ramadan, noting that Muslims fasted, recited the Qur’an with fervor, prayed with awe, and increased their charity. "I wish that every worship we perform and every good deed we do will be acceptable to our Lord," he added.
Gümüş also addressed the ongoing persecution faced by Muslims worldwide, particularly the struggle of Palestinians defending Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem. He commended their steadfastness, stating, “They have paid the heaviest prices for years and have not taken a step back. They are always in our minds, hearts, and prayers.”
Gümüş urged the Islamic Ummah to use Eid as an opportunity to overcome internal divisions and unite against the enemies of Islam. He expressed hope for collaborative efforts in thought, action, and victory for the "same sacred cause."
"It is my wish from my Lord that we, as the Islamic Ummah, take these blessed days as an occasion to eliminate the division and disorganisation among us and to take an honourable stance against the enemies of Islam who do not allow Muslims the right to life," Gumus said.
He concluded by praying for a future where the Ummah achieves greater knowledge, unity, and victory, calling for Muslims to think, work, and struggle together for the same sacred cause.
His Eid message resonated not only as a celebration of spiritual devotion but as a firm call to resistance, solidarity, and revival—offering direction to Muslims in a world rife with oppression, betrayal, and moral collapse.
As Gaza bleeds, as occupied lands cry out for justice, and as Islamic lands suffer under tyrants and foreign influence, Edip Gümüş’s message comes as a beacon of hope, resistance, and unwavering faith in Allah’s promise: “Indeed, the help of Allah is near.” (Qur’an, 2:214) (ILKHA)
