Türkiye hails Azerbaijan's parliamentary elections as historic milestone

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has expressed its support and optimism regarding the recent parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
In a press release, the ministry extended its congratulations to Azerbaijan, emphasizing the significance of the elections held on September 1st.
The statement highlighted the historic nature of the elections, noting that they took place across the entire country, including regions that were recently liberated from occupation. The ministry expressed hope that the elections would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus, marking a positive step forward for the region.
"We consider these parliamentary elections as historic, as they were held in the entire country, including the territories that were liberated from occupation," the ministry stated.
