Abu Obeida: Israeli soldiers will pay in blood for Gaza occupation

Abu Obeida, the official spokesperson of the Al-Qassam Brigades, issued a powerful warning Friday evening, stressing that the Israeli occupation’s criminal attempts to fully invade Gaza will backfire with devastating consequences for its army and leadership.
In a statement shared on his Telegram channel, Abu Obeida vowed that the invading forces would “pay in the blood of their soldiers” and that such reckless aggression would only increase the chances of more enemy soldiers being captured, God willing.
“Our fighters are fully prepared, highly motivated, and steadfast,” he declared. “With God’s help, they will show unmatched heroism and endurance, teaching the invaders harsh lessons on the battlefield.”
The Al-Qassam spokesperson also exposed the Israeli leadership’s disregard for its own people, accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his war cabinet of deliberately sacrificing the lives of Israeli captives. He said they had knowingly decided to reduce the number of living captives by half and to obliterate the remains of many of the dead in order to conceal the scale of their losses.
Abu Obeida emphasized that the occupation army and its “terrorist government” bear full responsibility for the fate of those held in Gaza. He assured that the Palestinian resistance would safeguard the captives as much as possible, keeping them alongside fighters on the frontlines under the same conditions and risks.
“For every captive killed by Israeli airstrikes and bombardments, we will announce their identity, release their images, and provide proof of their death,” he stated.
The warning came as Israel intensified its brutal military campaign against Gaza. Following the security cabinet’s approval on August 8, the occupation launched a full-scale assault beginning in Al-Zaytoun, later expanding to Al-Sabra, as well as eastern and northern Gaza City.
The offensive has relied heavily on relentless airstrikes, the destruction of hundreds of Palestinian homes using explosive-laden robots, and the forced displacement of civilians through illegal evacuation orders. These actions have deepened the humanitarian catastrophe in the besieged enclave, drawing widespread condemnation from the Palestinian people and international human rights groups. (ILKHA)
