At least two Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza displacement camp
At least two Palestinians were killed and several others injured after an airstrike by the Israeli regime struck near a tent camp sheltering displaced civilians in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to local reports.
The strike targeted the vicinity of a camp housing forcibly displaced families in the al-Attar area of Khan Younis, where large numbers of civilians have sought refuge amid ongoing attacks and displacement.
Witnesses and local sources reported extensive damage to tents and surrounding areas following the bombardment, with multiple civilians sustaining injuries of varying severity.
In a separate incident in central Khan Younis, a civilian vehicle traveling through the city was reportedly targeted in a missile strike. Three people inside the vehicle were seriously injured, while the vehicle was heavily damaged.
The wounded were transferred to nearby hospitals with the assistance of local residents and emergency responders.
Despite a ceasefire understanding announced on October 10, 2025, attacks by the Israeli regime have continued across different parts of Gaza, with local sources describing the strikes as repeated ceasefire violations.
Civilian infrastructure, displacement camps and transport vehicles have reportedly remained frequent targets as military operations continue, further worsening humanitarian conditions in the besieged territory.
The latest strikes come as humanitarian agencies continue warning about deteriorating conditions for displaced Palestinians living in overcrowded shelters and temporary camps across southern Gaza.(ILKHA)
