Deadly Israeli attack targets medics, journalist in Gaza's Al-Tuffah

Israeli occupation forces killed three paramedics and a journalist on Monday night as they heroically worked to rescue wounded civilians in the al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.
The medical team and journalist were deliberately targeted while responding to the aftermath of Israeli airstrikes on residential buildings, including the ash-Sharawi and al-Haddad complexes, where dozens of civilians had already been injured or killed.
This heinous attack underscores Israel’s ongoing war crimes against the Palestinian people, where even medics and members of the press are not spared. The paramedics were performing their humanitarian duty, and the journalist was documenting the reality on the ground—both vital roles in the face of daily Israeli bombardment.
Eyewitnesses reported that the strikes were part of a wider Israeli onslaught across Gaza on Monday evening, which saw relentless bombing of densely populated civilian areas, leading to a high number of casualties, including women and children.
The deliberate targeting of first responders and journalists not only violates international law but also reflects the occupation's intent to silence truth and prevent aid from reaching the wounded.
Despite the ever-present danger, Palestinian medics and journalists continue their courageous work, risking their lives daily to save others and report the truth of Israel’s assault on Gaza.
The Palestinian people, steadfast in the face of genocide, continue to call on the international community to intervene and hold the Israeli regime accountable for its crimes against humanity. (ILKHA)
