International charities deliver sacrificial meat to needy in Chad
In a heartfelt Eid al-Adha initiative, the Hope Caravan Foundation, Orphans Foundation, European Orphan Hand Association, and IHO EBRAR collaborated to deliver sacrificial meat and vital aid to families in need across Chad.
The campaign, supported by generous philanthropists, distributed donated sacrifices, zakat, alms, and various in-kind and cash assistance to struggling communities, amplifying the festive spirit of Eid.
Volunteers from the Orphans Foundation went beyond meat distribution, providing essential support to families in the region. The aid efforts were met with widespread gratitude, with local families expressing their appreciation by sharing traditional offerings of dates and bread with the volunteers.
A highlight of the campaign was the support extended to 170 orphan students at the Osman Bin Affan Madrasah, who received cash aid, Qurans, and various gifts. The gesture brought immense joy to the children and their families, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of Eid.
Celalettin Kılıç, a volunteer with the Orphans Foundation, shared his reflections: “We are deeply honored to contribute to such meaningful work. We distributed sacrificial meat to needy families and delivered zakat and alms in cash, as entrusted by our benefactors. At the madrasah, we provided cash aid, Qurans, and gifts to 170 orphans. The living conditions here are extremely challenging, with uninhabitable homes and places of worship. Inshallah, with the support of philanthropists, we will continue to reach and assist those in need.”
The campaign left a lasting impact, reflecting the spiritual essence of Eid and fostering hope among Chad’s most vulnerable communities. It not only addressed immediate needs but also symbolized solidarity and compassion during one of Islam’s holiest celebrations. The aid organizations involved have pledged to continue their support for vulnerable communities in Chad and beyond.(ILKHA)
