The number of Palestinians killed or missing in the Gaza Strip has reached about 10,000, according to local sources.

The zionist offensive, which started on October 6, has entered its 24th day with no sign of a ceasefire.

The sources said that more than 8,100 Palestinians have been martyred by israeli fire, while about 1,800 are still missing under the rubble of destroyed buildings. The overnight bombing was particularly intense and focused on the eastern areas of the central Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Education Ministry reported that 2,000 students and more than 70 teachers and staff members have been martyred as a result of the israeli aggression. Many schools and educational facilities have been damaged or demolished by the Israeli shelling.

The israeli artillery also targeted mosques in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which has been one of the most affected areas since the beginning of the assault. The northern areas of the Strip and the areas near the separation fence that isolates Gaza from the rest of Palestine were also hit by the israeli fire.

The sources added that the zionist occupation forces continue their barbaric aggression against residential neighborhoods and hospitals, threatening to destroy them. The Gaza health system is on the verge of collapse due to the lack of medical supplies and equipment.

The international community has condemned the israeli attacks and called for an immediate end to the violence. However, the zionist occupation regime has ignored the calls and continued its onslaught, claiming that it is targeting Hamas members and rocket launchers.
