Gaza death toll surges to 51,305 as Israeli offensive intensifies

Medical sources in Gaza reported today that at least 39 Palestinians have been killed and another 105 injured in the past 24 hours as the Israeli military continues its genocidal aggression in the region.
According to the latest figures, the total Palestinian death toll since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023 has now reached a staggering 51,305, with an additional 117,096 individuals having sustained injuries. Health officials emphasize that women and children constitute the majority of the casualties.
Sources also indicated that since the resumption of Israeli military action on March 18th, following a two-month truce, the death toll has further climbed by 1,783, with 4,683 additional injuries recorded during this period.
Health authorities in Gaza stated that emergency services continue to face significant challenges in reaching numerous casualties and deceased individuals who remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings or scattered across roads within the war-torn enclave. They further asserted that Israeli forces are persistently targeting ambulance and civil defense crews, hindering rescue efforts. (ILKHA)
