Genocide in Gaza: Over 100 Palestinians killed in single day of Israeli bombardment

The Israeli occupation forces continue to unleash an unrelenting wave of death and devastation across the besieged Gaza Strip, with more than 100 Palestinians killed in just the past few hours amid intensified airstrikes, shelling, and naval assaults.
Local sources report that over 10 civilians were martyred in a single wave of strikes, as Israel's war machine expands its reach from land to sea, targeting homes, refugee camps, and even makeshift shelters.
In northern Gaza, the neighborhoods of Jabalia al-Nazla and Beit Hanoun bore the brunt of Israeli air raids, as entire residential blocks were reduced to rubble. Five civilians were martyred in Jabalia alone, while continuous shelling devastated the infrastructure of surrounding areas, forcing yet more families into displacement and chaos.
The southern region fared no better. In the Khan Younis refugee camp, an Israeli airstrike leveled a residential house, killing five Palestinians and wounding at least ten others. The attack occurred without warning, striking a densely populated area already sheltering families who had fled previous bombings.
Israeli naval forces also joined the offensive, firing upon fishing boats off the coast of al-Mawasi, northwest of Khan Younis. Two bodies were later recovered from the al-Shakoush area near Rafah, further illustrating the all-encompassing nature of the Israeli campaign targeting Palestinian lives by air, land, and sea.
As Friday dawned, the Israeli military bombed makeshift tent camps housing displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. A woman and child were killed in the attack, with 20 others sustaining injuries, many of them critical. A separate Israeli shelling near the al-Ard al-Tayyiba area took the life of another child, marking yet another horrifying blow to Gaza’s already-traumatized children.
Simultaneously, Israeli tanks shelled the al-Katiba and western Satar districts, while invading units bulldozed civilian homes in eastern Khan Younis. In another chilling assault, an Israeli drone targeted al-Hannawi school—used as a shelter for displaced families—killing two Palestinians.
The latest attacks highlight the Israeli occupation's flagrant disregard for civilian life and international humanitarian law, as densely populated urban zones and vital civilian shelters continue to be systematically targeted. With emergency services overwhelmed, the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza deepens by the hour, while the world watches in silence. (ILKHA)
