Germany calls on Israel to allow unimpeded humanitarian aid into Gaza

Germany has urged Israel to immediately grant unrestricted access for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, following Israel’s decision to halt aid deliveries to the war-torn enclave.
"Unimpeded access for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip must be guaranteed at all times," German Foreign Ministry spokesman Sebastian Fischer stated during a press briefing in Berlin on Monday.
Expressing concern over Israel’s move, Fischer emphasized that humanitarian aid should not be used as a bargaining tool in negotiations. "Granting or denial of humanitarian access is not a legitimate means of pressure in negotiations," he added.
Germany's appeal comes amid growing international criticism of Israel’s blockade, which has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The international community continues to call for urgent measures to ensure aid reaches civilians in need. (ILKHA)
