Hamas condemns Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

Hamas strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s recent airstrikes targeting civilians and vital infrastructure in southern Lebanon, expressing full solidarity with the Lebanese people.
In a written statement, the Islamic Resistance Movement said, “We strongly denounce the Israeli occupying regime’s criminal airstrikes targeting civilians and vital facilities in southern Lebanon. We emphasize our full solidarity with the Lebanese people and consider the attack on Lebanon as an attack on the entire Arab region.”
The statement highlighted that the strikes violate international law and undermine regional stability, calling on the international community to hold the Israeli occupying regime accountable for its actions. Hamas also stressed the importance of Arab unity in resisting foreign aggression and supporting Lebanon’s right to defend its sovereignty.
The condemnation follows reports of the Israeli occupying regime’s air raids hitting villages in southern Lebanon, including civilian homes, local infrastructure, and key supply routes. The strikes are part of an ongoing escalation along the Lebanese-Israeli border, amid tensions linked to previous conflicts and ceasefire agreements.(ILKHA)
