Hamas mourns commander Khaled Al-Ahmad martyred in Lebanon

Palestinian resistance movement Hamas is in mourning following the targeted assassination of a prominent Al-Qassam Brigades commander and skilled engineer, Khaled Al-Ahmad, who was martyred in a treacherous Israeli drone strike on the city of Saida in southern Lebanon.
In a clear act of aggression and violation of Lebanese sovereignty, an Israeli drone targeted Al-Ahmad's vehicle at approximately 4:20 am on Wednesday morning. The cowardly attack occurred as the revered commander was on his way to perform the sacred dawn prayer, highlighting the barbarity and disregard for human life inherent in the Zionist entity's actions.
The martyrdom of Khaled Al-Ahmad represents a significant loss for the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Palestinian resistance as a whole. He was a dedicated leader and a talented engineer who dedicated his life to the just cause of Palestinian liberation. This latest assassination is further evidence of the Zionist regime's ongoing campaign of extrajudicial killings targeting those who bravely defend Palestinian rights and resist the illegal occupation.
The timing of the attack, as Al-Ahmad was on his way to prayer, underscores the Zionist entity's utter contempt for religious sanctity and basic human decency. This criminal act will undoubtedly fuel the resolve of the Palestinian resistance and further expose the brutality of the occupying forces to the international community.
Hamas has vowed that the blood of Khaled Al-Ahmad will not be shed in vain and that the resistance will continue its unwavering struggle until liberation and justice are achieved for the Palestinian people. Israeli occupation regime will be held accountable for its heinous crimes against the Palestinian nation and its brave defenders. (ILKHA)
