Hamas spokesman calls for protection of Bab al-Rahma prayer hall in Aqsa Mosque
Muhammed Hamada, a spokesman for Hamas, stated on Sunday that a large presence of Muslim worshippers is crucial in order to thwart Israeli attempts to Judaize the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall at the Aqsa Mosque.
According to Hamada, the zionist regime is trying to gain control of the Bab al-Rahma building and convert it into a synagogue as a means of establishing a foothold within the Aqsa Mosque.
He called on Palestinians to protect the Bab al-Rahma building from Israeli infringements and to escalate their opposition to Israeli occupation forces throughout the occupied territories.
Additionally, Hamada urged Arab and Muslim populations to provide support for the people of Jerusalem. (ILKHA)
