Hezbollah: Brutality in Gaza has surpassed all human limits

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem has sharply condemned the ongoing Israeli onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip, describing it as a campaign of genocide, starvation, and mass murder being carried out with full American complicity and global silence.
In a strongly worded statement issued Tuesday, Sheikh Qassem declared that the Palestinian people are enduring atrocities that "have exceeded all human and moral standards," laying direct blame on both the Zionist occupation and its chief enabler, the United States.
“The oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza are exposed to American-Israeli aggression, brutality, genocide, starvation, and murder,” Qassem stated. “What is happening in Gaza is a stain on the conscience of the world.”
Sheikh Qassem sharply criticized the selective outrage and inaction of the international community, asserting that mere condemnation or symbolic statements — even by 25 countries — do not absolve governments of responsibility for the bloodshed in Gaza.
“Statements and condemnations do not exonerate their proponents,” he said. “What is required is action — sanctions on the Zionist entity, full international isolation, and the prosecution of Israeli war criminals.”
Highlighting the hypocrisy of so-called international law, Sheikh Qassem pointed out that regimes claiming to uphold human rights are in fact complicit through their silence, their arms deals, or their political cover for Israeli crimes.
He reserved especially strong words for Arab and Muslim governments, urging them to abandon neutrality and take firm action in support of Palestine.
“The greatest responsibility falls on the shoulders of Arab and Islamic countries — rulers and peoples alike,” Qassem declared. “Choose the positions you want, but do not stand idly by. Stop normalization, shut down the enemy’s embassies, halt all trade, and stand united with Gaza — even with the bare minimum of your resources.”
He emphasized that unity among Muslims and steadfast public support for the Palestinian cause could be a decisive factor in forcing the U.S. and Israel to retreat.
“When America sees the Islamic world speaking with one voice alongside the people of Palestine, it will submit and back down.”
Warning of a grim legacy for those who remain silent, Sheikh Qassem called this moment one of the most shameful chapters in modern history, where innocent people are starved and slaughtered while world powers watch in silence.
“History will record this disgrace against the leaders and regimes of our time,” he warned. “The injustice of America and Israel will also extend to those who stayed silent. But know this: the wrongdoers will not succeed, and the arrogance and savagery of Israel will bring about its own horrific downfall — by the will of God.”
Sheikh Naim Qassem’s statement underscores growing frustration in the region over the international community’s failure to halt the genocide in Gaza, and calls for a shift from rhetorical condemnation to active resistance and tangible pressure on the Israeli regime. (ILKHA)
