Hezbollah's Sheikh Qassem slams Trump's 'political genocide' against Palestine

Sheikh Naim Qassem, the deputy secretary-general of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, delivered a powerful speech on Sunday, warning against the forced displacement of Palestinians.
He condemned US-backed Israeli aggression and called for immediate action to protect Palestinian sovereignty.
Sheikh Qassem denounced the stance of former US President Donald Trump on the Palestinian issue, asserting that his policies aimed to erase Palestine and its people. He linked these efforts to the failure of US-Israeli plans during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, arguing that Washington and Tel Aviv remain committed to dismantling Palestinian resistance.
Hezbollah’s senior leader firmly rejected any attempt to relocate Palestinians to Jordan, Egypt, or Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that such a move would constitute an unacceptable violation of their rights and an extension of the ongoing Nakba.
Additionally, Sheikh Qassem accused the United States of orchestrating and overseeing Israeli aggression against Palestinians. He called on Arab and Islamic nations to unite against this injustice, warning of its severe consequences for regional stability.
"Every action carried out by the Israeli occupiers is under direct US management," Sheikh Qassem stated, underscoring the necessity for regional solidarity in resisting Zionist expansionism.
Furthermore, he affirmed that Hezbollah is prepared to support any Arab or Islamic initiative aimed at defending Palestinian land and rights. His remarks highlight the urgent need for unified resistance against Israel’s continued violations and the importance of unwavering support for Palestinian liberation. (ILKHA)
