Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday that it had successfully destroyed a key American early warning radar system in a precision drone operation targeting the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

According to an official IRGC statement, the operation also struck an equipment warehouse and an MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle hangar inside the strategic US military installation, dealing another blow to Washington's regional military infrastructure.

Addressing the people of Kuwait directly, the IRGC emphasized that its actions were not directed against the Kuwaiti nation but against the American military presence, which it described as an occupying force that has used regional bases for decades to wage wars and carry out attacks across the Islamic world.

"The land of Kuwait has been occupied by US forces for years and has been used to kill Muslims," the statement declared, urging the Kuwaiti people not to allow their country to serve as a platform for further American aggression.

The IRGC reiterated that the current conflict began 140 days ago when the United States launched military operations against Iran from bases across the region. It stated that the opening phase of the war witnessed the martyrdom of 168 schoolchildren in Minab, followed by the martyrdom of one of Iran's most revered religious figures, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

The statement stressed that Iran's military operations are a legitimate act of self-defense against what it described as decades of American crimes throughout the region.

"The land of Kuwait must not become a safe haven for a terrorist army that has attacked at least ten Islamic countries and killed millions," the IRGC said, expressing hope that the Kuwaiti people would reject the continued use of their territory for military operations against neighboring Muslim nations.

The Revolutionary Guard reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic harbors no hostility toward the peoples of the region, insisting that its operations exclusively target American military installations responsible for launching attacks against Iran.

The latest IRGC operation came after the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced another wave of military strikes against Iran late Sunday, marking the ninth consecutive night of American attacks on the country.

CENTCOM claimed the strikes were intended to weaken Iran's military capabilities and undermine its ability to monitor and secure the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

The latest escalation has further expanded the regional confrontation, with Washington continuing its military campaign despite repeated Iranian warnings that continued aggression would be met with decisive retaliation.

Local sources reported that American attacks over the past 24 hours struck several locations across Iran, including the city of Abadan in Khuzestan Province.

Iranian media also reported explosions in Mahshahr and Imam Khomeini ports, while air defense systems were activated in Konarak Port in Sistan and Baluchestan Province to confront incoming threats.

Reports indicated that American strikes targeted Tabriz, Chabahar, Konarak, Bushehr, Jask, Sirik, and several other strategic locations within minutes as part of a coordinated assault.

Iranian state media reported that projectiles struck facilities near Chabahar and Katark ports, while additional explosions were heard in Bushehr and Tabriz.

Officials said some of the attacks focused on Iran's coastal monitoring infrastructure, in what they described as another failed attempt by Washington to weaken the country's ability to safeguard the Strait of Hormuz.

Despite the continued US bombardment, Iranian authorities stressed that the country's air defense network remains active and operational, while the Armed Forces continue to respond forcefully to American military aggression throughout the region.

Tehran has repeatedly stated that its military operations are defensive in nature and will continue until US attacks cease and the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic is fully respected. (ILKHA)
