IRGC srikes Haifa industrial sites in retaliation for Israeli attacks on Iran
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force successfully struck military-linked industrial facilities in the occupied city of Haifa with precision missiles on Monday.
The operation was launched directly in retaliation for the US-Israeli attack on an Iranian petrochemical plant, which targeted Iran's critical civilian energy infrastructure.
According to an official statement from the IRGC Public Relations Office, the strikes hit similar industrial sites in Haifa, delivering a clear message that the Islamic Republic will not tolerate assaults on its sovereign territory and economic assets.
"The IRGC Aerospace Force personnel carried out this missile strike in response to the enemy’s aggression against one of Iran’s petrochemical industries," the statement read. It emphasized that Iranian forces targeted equivalent industrial facilities, underscoring the principle of reciprocity in defense.
The IRGC warned that the Zionist regime has initiated a dangerous escalation by deliberately attacking civilian installations and oil industries. Any continuation of such criminal policies, the statement stressed, would result in a broader response encompassing all energy targets across the region.
"The consequences for the global economy will be borne by the main arsonist in this arena, America," the IRGC declared, placing full responsibility on the United States and its Zionist ally for any further destabilization and economic fallout.
This latest defensive action by Iran comes amid heightened tensions, as the Islamic Republic continues to exercise its legitimate right to self-defense against foreign aggression.
Iranian officials have repeatedly affirmed that while Iran seeks peace and stability, it possesses the full capability and resolve to protect its people, infrastructure, and national interests against any threat.
The IRGC reaffirmed that the Iranian Armed Forces remain vigilant and prepared to respond proportionately to any further provocations by the aggressors. (ILKHA)
