Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan condemns Israeli plan to fully occupy Gaza

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation regime’s latest declaration to seize full control of the Gaza Strip, describing the move as “dangerous, deeply troubling, and a blatant assault on Palestinian sovereignty.”
In an official statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Afghan government warned that such an expansionist decision would dramatically escalate the already devastating conflict in Gaza. The Ministry stressed that the measure would worsen an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe” and prolong the suffering of the besieged Palestinian people.
“This decision poses a grave threat to regional peace and stability,” the statement read, warning that the occupation’s aggressive policy could ignite a wider war, deepen the humanitarian disaster, and lead to more bloodshed among innocent civilians.
The Islamic Emirate called on the international community — particularly influential regional states, Muslim-majority countries, and global actors with political leverage — to fulfill their moral, humanitarian, and legal obligations toward the people of Gaza. The statement urged these nations to take immediate and decisive steps to halt the occupation’s aggression and prevent the crisis from spiraling further out of control.
Reiterating its stance, the Afghan government demanded an immediate ceasefire and the urgent, unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza’s battered population. It underlined that ensuring a lasting truce and enabling relief operations are essential to alleviating the suffering of millions trapped under blockade and bombardment.
The condemnation comes amid mounting international outrage over Israel’s relentless assault on the coastal enclave, where months of indiscriminate airstrikes, ground incursions, and siege tactics have left thousands dead, tens of thousands wounded, and much of Gaza’s infrastructure reduced to rubble. Severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine continue to push the population toward famine.
Observers say the Islamic Emirate’s statement reflects a growing chorus of voices across the Muslim world that view Israel’s latest actions not only as a military escalation, but as an attempt to erase Palestinian presence from Gaza altogether. (ILKHA)
