Israeli aggression in Tulkarm continues for 22nd day

The Israeli occupation forces have extended their military aggression in the city of Tulkarm and its surrounding areas for the 22nd consecutive day, marking an intensification of the already dire situation.
This includes the ninth consecutive day of escalating violence at Nour Shams refugee camp. The offensive has resulted in widespread infrastructure damage, home demolitions, and heightened military activity.
Local sources report that Israeli forces have sent additional reinforcements, including both vehicles and infantry soldiers, to the city and its camps. There has been heavy military deployment on Nablus Street, which connects Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps. Two homes along the street were seized by the Israeli army, and turned into military barracks.
Eyewitnesses describe large-scale raids carried out by Israeli forces last night in Tulkarm camp, during which homes were searched, ransacked, and their contents destroyed. Residents still in the area were subjected to field investigations. Infantry soldiers were heavily deployed throughout the camp, transforming neighborhoods into military outposts. In Al-Hadaida neighborhood, soldiers fired live ammunition and flashbangs randomly, causing fear among the residents.
Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers have continued their destruction of infrastructure in Al-Murabba'a neighborhood of Tulkarm camp, leaving roads and buildings in ruins. The destruction has isolated entire neighborhoods, further exacerbating the already dire humanitarian conditions in the region.
The military escalation has also targeted Nour Shams camp, where Israeli forces are continuing their siege and demolishing homes. At least three homes were destroyed in Al-Manshiya neighborhood, including those of martyrs Muhammad Jaber and Imad Al-Din Shahada. In addition to demolitions, Israeli soldiers carried out searches and vandalized homes while the residents were present, increasing the suffering of families.
Further damage was reported in the Dhnaba suburb east of Tulkarm, with roads and infrastructure severely affected, including the destruction of the Martyrs' Monument and significant damage near the old mosque. The occupation forces also closed the Jabara checkpoint, which serves as a key entry point to Tulkarm, for the tenth consecutive day, further isolating the city from surrounding towns and villages.
The ongoing violence continues to escalate the humanitarian crisis in Tulkarm and Nour Shams, as both areas face unprecedented levels of destruction and suffering. (ILKHA)
