Israeli ceasefire violations kill six more Palestinians across Gaza
Israeli forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire on Thursday through artillery shelling, airstrikes, and live gunfire across multiple areas of the besieged Strip, killing at least six Palestinians and wounding several others, according to local sources.
The latest attacks came despite the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025, which Palestinian officials say Israel has repeatedly breached through bombardment, demolitions, and restrictions on humanitarian access.
In Gaza City, one Palestinian was killed and three others injured when an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle near Abbas Junction west of the city. Local witnesses said quadcopter drones and military vehicles later opened heavy fire on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood while artillery shells struck the area and demolition operations continued east of the city.
Israeli forces also expanded the so-called “Yellow Zone” in Al-Tuffah, trapping several Palestinian families inside amid intense gunfire and military activity.
In the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, an Israeli drone struck a gathering of civilians near Al-Hilu Land, killing two Palestinians and injuring several others. Another Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli forces east of Deir al-Balah.
In southern Gaza, two more Palestinians were killed and several wounded in an Israeli strike on the Al-Hawouz area of Khan Yunis refugee camp. Witnesses also reported heavy tank fire northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp, while Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the coast of Khan Yunis.
Palestinian sources say Israel has continued targeting displacement areas, carrying out demolitions inside the so-called Yellow Line, and maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel despite the declared truce.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began has risen to 1,094, while 3,507 have been injured and 799 bodies have been recovered.
The ministry said the overall death toll from Israel’s offensive on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has reached 73,120 Palestinians killed, with 173,615 others injured, underscoring what Palestinian officials and rights advocates describe as the catastrophic human cost of the continuing war on the Gaza Strip.
As bombardment and gunfire persisted across the enclave, residents reported renewed fear and displacement, with many families trapped in areas subjected to ongoing military operations and unable to access adequate food, medical care, or safe shelter. (ILKHA)
