Medical sources reported that 13 civilians were shot dead while waiting for humanitarian aid near the GHF distribution center north of Rafah. Witnesses described scenes of panic as gunfire erupted at the crowded site.

Additionally, three Palestinians were killed and several injured in an Israeli attack on a gathering of residents in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The latest attacks come amid an Israeli assault on Gaza that has continued since October 2023, leaving at least 60,430 Palestinians dead and more than 148,722 injured, according to health authorities. Thousands more are feared trapped under rubble, unreachable by emergency teams due to ongoing bombardment.
Despite repeated calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire, as well as rulings from the International Court of Justice directing Israel to take measures to prevent genocide and ease the humanitarian crisis, the attacks have persisted.
