Israeli forces kill three Palestinians in raid on West Bank refugee camp

Israeli occupation forces killed three Palestinians in a deadly raid on al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, late Wednesday, according to local security sources.
The assault, part of a prolonged Israeli military operation in the northern West Bank, involved the use of missiles and heavy gunfire against a besieged house in the camp, ultimately leading to the deaths of three individuals.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces targeted the house with ENERGA anti-tank missiles, a tactic increasingly used in military operations against Palestinian resistance fighters. Following the withdrawal of the Israeli troops, ambulance crews and paramedics discovered body parts and pools of blood inside the destroyed home.
Sources confirmed that Israeli forces withheld the bodies of the three slain Palestinians, a policy often condemned by human rights organizations as a form of collective punishment.
The al-Far’a refugee camp has been under intense Israeli military assault for 18 consecutive days, with troops conducting house-to-house raids, forcibly displacing families, and ransacking homes. Many of the seized buildings have been turned into military outposts, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the area.
The occupation forces have also ploughed through vital infrastructure, destroying water pipelines and causing widespread power outages in parts of the town and the camp. With supplies cut off and residents unable to move freely, the situation has led to severe shortages of food and medical supplies.
The Israeli military has not provided any statements regarding the latest killings, and tensions remain high as Palestinian factions warn of retaliation.
The killings in al-Far’a are the latest in an ongoing Israeli escalation in the West Bank, where raids, arrests, and targeted assassinations have intensified since the start of the war on Gaza in October 2023.
Palestinian officials have repeatedly warned that Israel's actions in the West Bank—especially in refugee camps like Jenin, Tulkarm, and al-Far’a—are part of a broader effort to weaken Palestinian resistance and displace communities.
As the humanitarian crisis worsens, calls for international intervention have increased, but Israeli forces continue their operations with no signs of de-escalation. (ILKHA)
