Israeli occupation forces launch widespread raids across occupied West Bank

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of coordinated military raids across several cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank early Friday, arresting Palestinians, raiding homes, and firing tear gas near a major hospital amid a continuing escalation in the occupied territory.
According to local sources, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinian young men during a raid on the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin, where soldiers also stormed and searched several homes as part of an ongoing military campaign.
The occupation forces also raided the village of Awarta, southeast of Nablus, and the town of Imatin, east of Qalqilya. No arrests were immediately reported during those incursions.
In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, Israeli troops raided the area surrounding the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, firing tear gas canisters around the hospital and into its courtyards, raising concerns over the safety of patients, medical staff, and visitors.
The military operations extended to Al-Amari refugee camp in Al-Bireh, where heavily armed Israeli forces deployed throughout several streets while conducting searches and patrols.
Elsewhere, Israeli occupation troops entered the town of Beit Sahour in the Bethlehem governorate as part of the broader campaign.
Israeli forces also launched a large-scale incursion into Qalandiya refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, deploying significant numbers of troops across the camp and carrying out military operations.
In the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers stormed the city of Tubas, conducting raids in several neighborhoods.
The latest military incursions come amid a continuing escalation across the occupied West Bank, where Israeli occupation forces have intensified near-daily arrest campaigns, home raids, and military operations.
The raids are frequently accompanied by confrontations with Palestinian residents, restrictions on movement, and heightened military measures, contributing to growing tensions throughout the occupied territory. (ILKHA)
