Israeli occupation pushes false “peace” demands to mask Gaza genocide

The Israeli occupation regime, reeling from its battlefield failures and global condemnation over its ongoing genocide in Gaza, has launched a new campaign to impose what it falsely labels a “peace agreement.”
Analysts and Palestinian leaders stress that this so-called peace is nothing more than a surrender document aimed at erasing the memory of Israel’s crimes and silencing worldwide outrage.
After facing heavy blows at the hands of the Palestinian resistance and being increasingly seen by the international community as a genocidal occupation gang, Israel is now attempting to whitewash its image. By presenting its oppressive dictates as “peace conditions,” the regime seeks to regain legitimacy in the eyes of a global public that has grown sharply critical of its war crimes.
According to a statement from the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s conditions include the disarmament of Hamas, the total disarmament of the Gaza Strip, the return of prisoners held by the resistance, Israel’s control over Gaza’s land and sea, and the creation of an “administrative authority” that excludes both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority but is required to live “in peace” with Israel.
Observers note that such demands amount to nothing less than the full surrender of the Palestinian people, stripping them of their right to resist occupation and ensuring permanent Israeli domination over Gaza.
In response, Hamas firmly rejected the occupation regime’s conditions, reiterating that the resistance will never lay down its arms or abandon its duty to defend Palestinian lands. “The weapons of the resistance are not up for negotiation,” Hamas stressed, underlining that the Palestinian struggle is rooted in the right to resist colonialism and occupation.
Palestinian commentators emphasize that Israel’s so-called peace plan is designed to achieve through coercion what it has failed to achieve through decades of military aggression: the submission of the Palestinian people. However, they affirm that Gaza’s steadfastness and the resilience of the resistance continue to block these attempts.
With Israel increasingly isolated internationally and unable to achieve its military goals, the resistance insists that any true peace must begin with an end to aggression, the lifting of the siege, and full recognition of the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights. (ILKHA)
