Israeli strikes kill over 400 Palestinians in Gaza after ceasefire
Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement by launching renewed aerial and artillery attacks across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
Early Tuesday, Israeli warplanes opened fire on eastern parts of Gaza City, including the densely populated Tuffah neighborhood. At the same time, Israeli fighter jets carried out airstrikes east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza and east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the enclave, residents and local sources reported.
The renewed attacks come despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 11, 2025, which was intended to halt hostilities and allow for humanitarian relief efforts to proceed. However, repeated violations have been reported since the agreement was announced.
According to documented figures, Israeli ceasefire violations since October 11 have resulted in at least 405 fatalities and 1,115 injuries across the Gaza Strip. In addition, the bodies of 649 Palestinians have been recovered during this period, many from areas previously targeted by intense bombardment.
Local sources say the continued air and artillery strikes have deepened fear among civilians, many of whom are already displaced and living under dire humanitarian conditions amid widespread destruction, shortages of basic necessities, and limited access to medical care.
Palestinian officials and rights groups have repeatedly called on the international community to intervene and ensure the enforcement of the ceasefire, warning that ongoing Israeli attacks undermine prospects for stability and further exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. (ILKHA)
