Lebanon’s death toll from Israeli aggression climbs to 4,301 as attacks continue
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that the death toll resulting from ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 4,301 civilians, while thousands more have been injured amid continued attacks across the country.
The ministry said that 4,301 people have been killed and 12,199 others wounded since the escalation of Israeli attacks on Lebanon on March 2, 2026. The figures underscore the heavy human cost borne by Lebanese civilians as hostilities continue to affect communities across the country.
The latest developments come as Israeli military activity intensified in several areas of southern Lebanon, raising concerns over the safety of civilians and the risk of further escalation.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), an Israeli drone dropped a stun grenade over the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa. Approximately five minutes later, the same drone reportedly returned and dropped a second stun grenade on the same location, causing fear and panic among residents.
In a separate incident, the agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the town of Siddiqine in the Tyre district. Shortly after the initial strike, the drone carried out a second attack in the same area, injuring two people.
The continued attacks have fueled growing concern among Lebanese officials and humanitarian organizations, which warn that civilians remain at significant risk as Israeli military operations persist in populated areas.
Lebanese authorities have repeatedly condemned the attacks as violations of the country's sovereignty and have called on the international community to take urgent action to halt the aggression and ensure the protection of civilians.
As the death toll continues to climb, residents in southern Lebanon face ongoing insecurity, with many communities struggling to cope with the humanitarian consequences of the conflict. Medical facilities and emergency services remain under pressure as they work to treat the wounded and assist families affected by the violence.
The latest casualties add to the mounting toll of Israel's military campaign, which has left thousands of Lebanese families mourning loved ones and intensified calls for an immediate end to attacks on civilian areas. (ILKHA)
