Massacre in Rafah: 20 Palestinians martyred, including women and children

In a continuation of its atrocities against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the zionist occupation regime committed a massacre in Rafah, southern Gaza, targeting the Zamili family's house, resulting in the martyrdom of 20 people, including women and children.
Concurrently, further airstrikes were carried out around the eastern cemetery in al-Jneina. In a separate incident, the main building of al-Israa University in the southern part of Gaza City was destroyed by israeli forces, and artillery continued shelling western areas of the city.
This recent massacre in Rafah adds to a series of 16 others committed by Israeli occupation forces against Gazan families in the past 24 hours, leading to over 160 fatalities and 350 injuries.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported a total of 24,448 Palestinians martyred since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, with 61,504 injuries.
Additionally, the Ministry highlighted the spread of Hepatitis A in Gaza due to overpopulation in refugee-filled areas, and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has issued warnings about the potential increase in infectious diseases in the region. (ILKHA)
