Palestine: Thousands attend “Great Fajr” prayer in Jerusalem, W. Bank and Gaza

Thousands of Palestinian citizens participated in Fajr prayer gatherings at the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and other Mosques in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, thousands of Palestinians flocked to the Aqsa Mosque, including children and women, and performed the Fajr payer in its buildings despite the rainy and cold weather.
Recently, the Great Fajr campaign has been reactivated to urge the Palestinians from across the occupied territories to participate in the Great Fajr prayer at the Aqsa Mosque. Such an event is aimed at intensifying the presence of Muslims at the Mosque to protect it against Judaization plots.
In W. Bank and Gaza, thousands also attended the Great Fajr at different Mosques in response to calls for participating in massive Fajr prayers to mark the 28 anniversary of the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre and to express solidarity with the Aqsa Mosque and their Jerusalemite compatriots. (ILKHA)
