According to a statement issued by the Brigades, Palestinian Resistance fighters lured a heavily armed Israeli convoy, including four Hummer military vehicles and an Amulisa military truck, into a carefully planned ambush along Al-Tayaran Street. The operation involved a coordinated assault using Shawaz and other explosive devices, leading to the complete destruction of the convoy and the confirmed killing and injuring of several Israeli soldiers.

Following the initial attack, al-Qassam fighters engaged surviving occupation forces in close-quarters combat, further inflicting casualties in a daring and direct confrontation.

In a related act of defiance, the al-Quds Brigades—the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement—released footage on Tuesday showing their fighters targeting Israeli soldiers entrenched inside a house in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The operation featured the precise launch of a 107mm guided rocket that struck the building directly, as confirmed by their military media unit. The strike was carried out on Sunday and is believed to have resulted in casualties among the occupation forces.

Moreover, al-Qassam fighters on the same day targeted a heavily armored Israeli Merkava 4 tank with an al-Yassin-105 anti-tank rocket in eastern al-Tuffah. In a separate but nearby operation, they detonated an anti-personnel explosive device, reportedly causing further deaths and injuries among the invading soldiers.
