PKK members kill 5 Peshmergas in Kurdistan region

5 Peshmergas were killed and 4 others injured when PKK members attacked a vehicle carrying Peshmerga forces in Al-Amadiya, Duhok.
Peshmerga forces headed today, at dawn to Matin Mountain to establish a new military point to maintain security in the area when PKK members targeted them with a cornet, Russian man-portable anti-tank guided missile (ATGM).
The Chief of Staff of the Peshmerga, Lieutenant-General Jamal Eminki, confirmed that a number of Peshmerga forces were killed and wounded in an ambush by PKK in the region. (ILKHA)
