Russia, China, and Iran to hold trilateral talks on nuclear program in Moscow

Moscow is set to host trilateral consultations between Russia, China, and Iran on April 7–8, focusing on the Iranian nuclear file, according to a statement from Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai during a press conference on Monday.
The talks aim to deepen coordination among the three nations in response to continued Western pressure and skepticism over Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry had emphasized that the participating countries are committed to pursuing "viable and sustainable negotiating solutions" to counter what it described as biased and politically motivated narratives pushed by Western powers regarding Iran's nuclear program.
The consultations are expected to reinforce Tehran’s position against unilateral sanctions and diplomatic isolation, while bolstering multilateral support for the revival of balanced and lawful engagement under international frameworks.
The meetings underscore the growing strategic cooperation between Moscow, Beijing, and Tehran amid shifting geopolitical dynamics and efforts to challenge Western-dominated global policy approaches. (ILKHA)
