Russia-Islamic World forum in Kazan to host delegates from 87 nations

The Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2025, scheduled for May 13-18, will welcome approximately 25,000 participants from 87 countries, according to Aleksandr Stuglev, Director of the Roskongress Foundation.
The international economic forum, held in Kazan, aims to deepen ties between Russia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.
Speaking at a press conference, Stuglev highlighted the event’s global appeal, noting that the forum will attract not only representatives from Islamic countries but also entrepreneurs from major economies engaged in international cooperation. “The participant list extends beyond the Islamic world, including business leaders from the largest countries,” he said.
High-Level Delegations to Attend
Konstantin Kolpakov, a Russian Foreign Ministry representative, confirmed the participation of high-profile dignitaries, including the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan, a member of the Qatari royal family, the Minister of Investment Privatization of Pakistan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Libya, and the Minister of Foreign Trade of the UAE. Kolpakov also noted significant interest from Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and South Africa.

The KazanForum serves as a key platform for fostering collaboration in commercial, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and social spheres. It underscores Russia’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with the Islamic world and diversify its global economic alliances.
