Saudi Arabia strongly rejects Netanyahu’s remarks on Palestinian displacement

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has firmly rejected recent statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the forced displacement of Palestinians, calling them an attempt to distract from Israel’s ongoing actions in Gaza.
In an official statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom reaffirmed its commitment to the Palestinian cause and expressed appreciation for the support shown by Arab and Islamic nations in condemning Netanyahu’s remarks.
Saudi Arabia strongly criticized Netanyahu’s comments, stating that they fail to acknowledge the historical, legal, and emotional connection Palestinians have to their homeland. The Kingdom further accused Israel of committing "ethnic cleansing" in Gaza, where over 160,000 people have been killed or injured, the majority being women and children.
"The Palestinian people are the rightful owners of their land and cannot be treated as foreigners or migrants who can be expelled at will," the statement declared.
The Saudi government emphasized that extremist rhetoric from Israeli leadership has long hindered peace efforts, preventing Israel from accepting coexistence and rejecting peace initiatives proposed by Arab nations.
Reaffirming its stance, Saudi Arabia stated that the two-state solution remains the only viable path to lasting peace. It called for a return to diplomatic negotiations that recognize Palestinian sovereignty and ensure a just resolution to the conflict.
Saudi Arabia’s condemnation follows a wave of criticism from Arab and Islamic countries, all of which have denounced Netanyahu’s remarks as inflammatory and counterproductive to peace efforts. The Kingdom vowed to continue advocating for Palestinian rights on the global stage and stressed that the Palestinian struggle for sovereignty is inalienable, regardless of how long it takes to achieve justice.
