Sayyed Al-Houthi: Ansarullah ready for next confrontation with Israel
The head of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi, delivered a powerful address emphasizing the lofty status that Allah has granted to those who are martyred in His path, describing martyrdom as the essence of faith and the foundation of a nation’s dignity and strength.
In his address, Sayyed Al-Houthi highlighted that those who are killed in the path of Allah attain a position of great honor, and that there is no loss in Allah’s cause, for what He grants the martyrs is far greater than the fleeting pleasures of worldly life. He explained that the elevated status of martyrs serves both as a consolation for their families and as a motivation for believers to continue steadfastly in jihad, regardless of the risks.
“Martyrdom is not the opposite of life,” Al-Houthi asserted, “but the true culture of life itself. A nation that moves with the spirit of jihad and martyrdom is proud and dignified, while those who abandon this path invite humiliation and destruction.”
The Ansarullah leader warned that abandoning jihad and shunning martyrdom has historically led to decline and subjugation. He noted that throughout history, the Muslim nation has suffered immense losses—often without resistance—due to submission to oppressors.
Al-Houthi condemned the destructive policies of the United States and the Israeli regime, describing them as embodiments of “falsehood, tyranny, and satanic goals.” He accused them of seeking to enslave nations, plunder resources, and dominate societies through wars and occupation.
He also criticized the movements that have deviated from the true path of enmity, saying, “What we see from takfiri groups and other misguided formations is a distortion of the compass of jihad to serve American and Israeli interests.”
The Ansarullah leader defined martyrdom as an “investment in the inevitable departure of human beings,” asserting that it transforms death into a purposeful act of resistance and protection for one’s people.
“Martyrs are those who carry the cause of truth and act upon principle,” he said. “They free themselves from worldly constraints, and their sacrifices shape the victories and honor of their nations.”
Al-Houthi emphasized that nations rooted in faith and the spirit of sacrifice can never be subdued. “Societies that fear martyrdom weaken themselves before their enemies,” he said, “while faith-based societies remain strong, resilient, and steadfast in the face of trials.”
He affirmed that the fruits of sacrifice in the path of Allah manifest both in worldly victory and in eternal reward, adding that Allah supports those who sincerely strive in His path.
Concluding his address, Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi stated that the “Quranic movement” has grown in strength, dignity, and victory despite the attempts of its enemies to break its resolve. “History bears witness,” he said, “that the believers and mujahideen who move sincerely for Allah have always triumphed, for jihad in His path is the way to uphold justice, mercy, and the true values of humanity.” (ILKHA)
