Tehran executes spy in major blow to Israeli intelligence network

The Islamic Republic of Iran has carried out the execution of a convicted Mossad agent, Esmail Fekri, as part of its ongoing campaign to safeguard national security and defend against Israeli espionage.
According to Iranian media sources, including Fars News Agency and ISNA, Fekri was hanged on Monday morning after being found guilty of collaborating with the Israeli regime’s Mossad intelligence network.
Fekri, arrested in December, was convicted of passing classified information to two Mossad agents, posing a serious threat to national security. His execution marks the third in recent weeks tied to espionage activities directed by the Israeli regime, signaling Iran’s unwavering stance against infiltration and sabotage.
In a series of related operations, Iranian security forces also apprehended four additional individuals suspected of working with Mossad. On Monday, two agents were detained by the Rey County Special Police Command in Fashafoyeh, reportedly in possession of drones, explosive materials, and launchers intended for acts of subversion.
On Sunday, Iranian authorities arrested two more suspects in Alborz province. These individuals were allegedly preparing explosive devices and advanced electronic systems, once again pointing to a systematic sabotage plot orchestrated by Israeli intelligence.
The arrests and the execution highlight Iran’s determination to defend its sovereignty and the safety of its citizens from foreign-backed destabilization efforts. Amid heightened regional tensions and continued acts of aggression from the Zionist regime, Iranian intelligence and security services have intensified their operations to identify and dismantle espionage networks operating within the country.
Officials have reiterated that any act of treason or collaboration with the enemy will be met with firm legal consequences, in line with Iran’s commitment to justice, national dignity, and regional stability. (ILKHA)
