US warplanes conduct airstrikes on central and northern Yemen

United States warplanes launched a new wave of airstrikes late Saturday across central and northern Yemen, striking multiple locations in the governorates of al-Bayda and Saada, according to local sources.
In al-Bayda Governorate, five airstrikes reportedly hit the vocational institute in the al-Sawma'ah District, located in the eastern part of the region. The facility, considered a vital educational and technical training center, suffered substantial damage in the attack.
Meanwhile, in Saada Governorate, three additional airstrikes were carried out in the al-Sahleen area of the al-Salem subdistrict, part of the Kitaf District, near Yemen’s northern border. The region has been a frequent target in previous US military operations under the pretext of counterterrorism.
No official statements have been issued regarding casualties or the full extent of the destruction. (ILKHA)
