Türkiye's non-domestic producer prices rise 30.33% annually in June
Türkiye's Non-Domestic Producer Price Index (ND-PPI) rose 30.33% year-on-year in June 2026, while increasing 0.46% month-on-month, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) on Monday.
The index, which measures changes in producer prices for goods manufactured for export markets, also recorded an 17.85% increase compared with December 2025 and a 32.07% rise based on the twelve-month moving average.
On an annual basis, producer prices in the manufacturing sector increased 30.08%, while prices in the mining and quarrying sector climbed 45.13%, reflecting continued cost pressures across Türkiye's export-oriented industries.
Among the main industrial groupings, energy recorded the strongest annual increase, rising 61.56% compared with June 2025. It was followed by non-durable consumer goods, which increased 33.96%, durable consumer goods at 31.79%, intermediate goods at 30.85%, and capital goods, which posted the smallest annual increase among the major categories at 20.69%.
Compared with May 2026, the overall ND-PPI increased by 0.46%, indicating a modest month-on-month rise in export producer prices.
The manufacturing sector posted a 0.47% monthly increase, while the mining and quarrying sector rose 0.26%.
Among the major industrial groups, intermediate goods recorded the largest monthly increase, rising 2.32% compared with the previous month. This was followed by non-durable consumer goods, which increased 1.75%, durable consumer goods at 1.02%, and capital goods, which posted a 0.84% monthly rise.
In contrast, energy prices declined sharply by 13.08% compared with the previous month, marking the largest monthly decrease among all industrial groups.
The latest figures indicate that producer prices for Türkiye's export-oriented industries continue to experience significant annual increases despite relatively moderate monthly growth. Manufacturing remains the primary driver of the index, while elevated costs in energy and mining continue to influence pricing across industrial sectors.
The ND-PPI is closely monitored as an indicator of cost trends facing exporters and manufacturers, offering insight into inflationary pressures affecting goods produced for international markets. (ILKHA)
