Turkey reports 149 new deaths from coronavirus

149 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 24,789, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,418,472, after 5,967 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 2,003 patients are in critical condition, 2,296,050patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
28,195,901 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
