The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned Israel’s latest airstrikes on Lebanese territory, denouncing the attacks as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional peace and security.

In a press release issued Saturday, the ministry declared: “We condemn Israel’s airstrikes against Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire agreement. We stand firmly by the people of Lebanon.”

The statement criticized Israel’s continued aggression, stating that the strikes "once again exposed Israel’s flagrant disregard for international law" and highlighted the country’s role in perpetuating instability in the Middle East.

Reaffirming its support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, Türkiye called on the international community to take a unified stance against what it described as “Israel’s attempts to entrench a perpetual state of conflict” in the region.

The statement comes amid rising tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, with reports of casualties and destruction following the recent round of airstrikes. Türkiye has repeatedly urged restraint and adherence to international agreements, warning that unchecked escalation could plunge the region into a wider conflict.
