Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay a visit to the United Kingdom to attend the NATO Leaders Meeting, which will be held in London on December 3-5, 2019 to mark the 70th anniversary of the NATO Alliance.
Erdoğan will be accompanied in the UK by a delegation involving Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Treasury and Finance, and National Defense.

The progress as regards the works aimed at ensuring the Alliance’s adaptation to the current security environment will also be on the meeting’s agenda, with the participating leaders expected to issue directives accordingly.
The meeting is expected to be closed with the adoption of the "London Communique."
Erdoğan will also hold talks with some of the participating heads of state and government on the sidelines of the meeting.
As part of the visit, Erdoğan will also have a quadrilateral meeting with the leaders of the UK, France and Germany. The quadrilateral meeting will mainly focus on regional issues, particularly Syria and Libya.
