Hope Caravan organizes charity bazaar in Muş for needy families
The humanitarian aid organization Hope Caravan (Umut Kervanı) has organized a charity bazaar in the eastern Turkish province of Muş to raise support for underprivileged families and orphans, drawing strong interest from local residents.
The four-day-long bazaar, which continues today, is being held in Hürriyet Neighborhood on Atatürk Boulevard, opposite the Land Registry and Cadastre Directorate. The event features a wide range of stalls offering hot meals, homemade desserts, handmade crafts, books, hardware materials, and various gift items.
Organizers said the proceeds from the bazaar will be directed to assist needy families and orphaned children in the region, as part of ongoing humanitarian relief efforts carried out by the organization.
Hope Caravan President Mustafa Şakar expressed gratitude to volunteers and the people of Muş for their support, emphasizing that the event was made possible through collective effort.
Şakar said the bazaar has been running since Sunday and continues to attract significant public attention. He noted that volunteers worked intensively ahead of the event and that the initiative aims to provide sustained assistance to vulnerable families. “The proceeds from the bazaar will be used to help needy orphans and families without support in our province,” he said, adding prayers for all contributors and volunteers.
Another member of the organization, Erhan Elitaş, said public participation exceeded expectations. He noted that the bazaar was also organized in support of families in need and, according to him, solidarity efforts have been warmly received by the community. He encouraged residents to continue visiting and supporting the event.
Volunteers, including young people and children involved in the bazaar, highlighted the importance of solidarity, mutual assistance, and community engagement in addressing social needs.
The charity bazaar is expected to continue welcoming visitors throughout its final day, with organizers expressing hope that the funds raised will provide meaningful assistance to families in need across Muş province. (ILKHA)
