ITTIHADUL ULEMA invites Diyarbakır residents to Mawlid Al Nabi celebration

Members of the Union of Scholars and Madrasahs (ITTIHADUL ULEMA) took to the streets of Diyarbakır’s historic Sur district today to personally invite residents and shopkeepers to the upcoming Mawlid Al Nabi celebration.
The event, organized by the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation (Peygamber Sevdalıları Vakfı), is scheduled for this Sunday, April 20th, at 13:30.
The ITTIHADUL ULEMA delegation, led by Board Member Molla Remzi Uçar and esteemed scholar Molla Nazım Şimşek, engaged with the local populace in the city center prior to Friday prayers. Their mission was to raise awareness and encourage widespread participation in the Mawlid Al Nabi celebration, which carries the theme “Resistance Leader Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)”.
Throughout their outreach, the scholars underscored the profound spiritual importance of commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and urged citizens to join in honoring his revered legacy. In a gesture of traditional Turkish hospitality, the delegation distributed roses, rose water, and Turkish delight to those they met, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The personal invitations were received with evident appreciation, leading to touching interactions across the Sur district as the religious leaders connected with community members in a spirit of brotherhood and deep respect.
The Prophet Loved Ones Foundation anticipates a large turnout for their Mawlid Al Nabi event, expecting thousands to gather in unity for an afternoon of celebration, reflection, and expressions of love for the Messenger of Allah. (ILKHA)
